When trying to build tint2-0.7, it fails saying that: checking for XINERAMA... configure: error: Package requirements (xinerama) were not met: Package xineramaproto was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xineramaproto.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'xineramaproto', required by 'Xinerama', not found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XINERAMA_CFLAGS and XINERAMA_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. !!! Created attachment 197498 [details] Modified ebuild for tint2 I simply added x11-proto/xineramaproto to RDEPEND.

It requires xineramaproto, which is separate from just the libXinerama. I added it to the ebuild.
Comment on attachment 197498 [details] Modified ebuild for tint2 Also seems to be a runtime dependency--not just a build dependency.
(In reply to comment #3) > (From update of attachment 197498 [details] [edit]) > Also seems to be a runtime dependency--not just a build dependency. > Thank you for reporting, fixed in cvs. xineramaproto is just a build-time dependency, libXinerama is both.
