patch for desktop.xml

This patch replaces the modules.autoload, with modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.4

how bout:

Don't forget to add the modules that your mouse uses to modules.autoload.d/kernel-<ver>. In this case, we assume you are using 2.4 based kernel.

Comment 4 Sven Vermeulen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-09-06 05:27:21 UTC
I disagree slightly; users that have a 2.6 kernel should know that they have to use kernel-2.6 then. If we are to tell the users explicitly (I know, in the future we will have to), we should do that in all guides (including the installation guide, which also assumes kernel-2.4 is the default).

In other words, lets keep our guides consistent and leave kernel-2.4 as the "default" behaviour. Fix this when 2.6 is in GA.

Just my 2 cents.
