Is this reproducible on a new created user account? Have you tried to build it with -O2 instead of -Os. Please try to also get a proper backtrace: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml Thanks

However, anjuta is a nightmare and it's known to be very unstable in some case (like that..)...
