Description Viktor S 2009-07-05 04:42:31 UTC
Recently updated the mentioned package (along with 10-15 unrelated packages) and repeat for arrow down and arrow left stopped working. All other keys works as normal afaik. Running xset r 116 and xset r 113 resolves the problem as described in the URL. Since I didn't update the evdev-driver I am reluctant to think that it should be the point of failure. I also tried rebuilding said driver (xf86-input-evdev) post-upgrade with no success.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge xorg-server
2. startx
3. Press down arrow where apropriate
4. Get annoyed
5. Post bugreport :-)

Expected Results:
Repeated movement of the cursor

just to confirm, i had the same after xorg update. tried rebuilding xf86-input-evdev with no change. it's only X related, as on console the keys are repetitive. doing xset r 116 and xset r 113 solves it.
