I started out setting up a complex USE=test/smtp/http check in order to get the appropriate stuff built in for the basic -local and -remote checks. It then turned out this needs certain servers available (both local and remote), which are kind of arbitrary (anyone running chargen?) and doomed to fail when the package is built when off line, so I went the easy way and put in a RESTRICT=test.
