The stable baselayout scripts try to use the "-w" flag on wpa_supplicant. But the stable wpa supplicant does not have this flag.. (Just removing it from the script seems to work). But the right solution is probably to remove the network crap from baselayout and just use networkmanager...
please refrain from proposing unrelated (and imo wrong) ideas to bug reports. baselayout isnt going to ditch its network stack in favor of the bloated network manager.
i dont see any "-w" flag in /lib/rcscripts/net/wpa_supplicant.sh (1.12.11+) i do see a "-W" flag, but that is supported in current wpa_supplicant stable (which is 0.6.9 at the moment)
