Unable to compile. Solve: Use flag xscreensaver should be added and honored.

The gtk use flag should control screensaver support...

I thought gtk is for having an graphical user interface???

Using USE="-gtk" it compiles fine, because having no X-Interface means also having no support for X-Extensions like xscreensaver. But with this flag i lose the graphical support and pidgin is only avaible in textmode (known as finch).

So there is no support having a gui without xscreensaver-support?

Is there a version of X in gentoo without the Xss extension?
