It's a bashism in the configure file, I've fixed it upstream but I haven't released a new version, I probably should now.

After correct configure script I've catch one more error: In file included from ./lib/unieject.h:22, from lib/eject.c:19: /usr/include/cdio/cdio.h:80:25: error: cdio/cdtext.h: No such file or directory although libcdio have been emerged.
I'm going to make a 5.4 release that fixes this and a few more problems, so feel free to stand by for today.
Actually it went to be version 6 (I forgot I changed popt -> glib along the way), but it's in tree now and this should be fixed.
