Description Dmitry 2009-06-24 11:11:31 UTC
When i trying to start Slime on Emacs using ECL as Lisp interpreter, Slime's component "swank" can't be compiled. It returns many type conversion errors in swank-ecl.lisp

Please report this to upstream. By the way, on my computer ECLS 9.6.2 works with latest slime HEAD.
Comment 3 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-25 18:56:31 UTC
We don't accept bugs about live packages in bugzilla.
Comment 4 Dmitry 2009-06-25 19:03:36 UTC
 * SLIME notes for Gentoo
 * ----------------------
 *
 * If you're interested in hacking this ebuild, SLIME uses its own
 * swank.asd system definition file and swank-loader.lisp.
 *
 * As always with CVS ebuilds, DO NOT report problems to upstream.
 * Always report problems to the Gentoo Bugzilla at
 * http://bugs.gentoo.org

It's emerge output.
Comment 5 Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-06-26 09:25:55 UTC
Stelian, can you please remove that message? None of our overlay ebuilds should advocate reporting bugs to bugzilla. Besides, doesn't slime upstream WANT you to use live and thus WANTS to hear bugs about it?
