Description Patrik Maunus 2003-08-28 21:32:15 UTC
When I upgraged centericq from 4.9.4 to 4.9.6 it now shows some strange
characters instead of the normal brackets [].

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

I can't reproduce it here, what version of ncurses do you have?
are you running centericq in pure console or in a X terminal?
Comment 2 Patrik Maunus 2003-08-29 09:56:38 UTC
I run ncurses-5.3-r1 in a xterm

sorry for the incomplete bug report but this is the first time I have done one.
Comment 3 Patrik Maunus 2003-08-30 07:35:28 UTC
I just remembered that centericq 4.9.6 depended on fribidi-0.10.4
maybe it's fribidi???
Comment 4 Alex Veber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-08-30 08:58:37 UTC
its not fribidi, its ncurses.
can you try upgrading to ncurses-5.3-r4?
Comment 5 Patrik Maunus 2003-08-30 09:34:57 UTC
It works now, thanks!
Comment 6 Alex Veber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-01 04:24:36 UTC
The fix is also in 5.3-r2 which is in stable, closing. Thanks!
