When I upgraged centericq from 4.9.4 to 4.9.6 it now shows some strange characters instead of the normal brackets []. I can't reproduce it here, what version of ncurses do you have? are you running centericq in pure console or in a X terminal?
I run ncurses-5.3-r1 in a xterm sorry for the incomplete bug report but this is the first time I have done one.
I just remembered that centericq 4.9.6 depended on fribidi-0.10.4 maybe it's fribidi???
its not fribidi, its ncurses. can you try upgrading to ncurses-5.3-r4?
It works now, thanks!
The fix is also in 5.3-r2 which is in stable, closing. Thanks!
