Description Matthias Schwarzott gentoo-dev 2009-06-22 19:49:18 UTC
net-analyzer/tcpdump has a strong warning about samba printing support.
As the 4.* versions already use eapis greater than 0, why don't you set the samba use-flag to disabled by default.

IUSE="-samba"

That way, most users would get the sane default of samba support disabled, and those who need it can still enable it via /etc/portage/package.use

Thank you for suggestion Matthias. Done in 4.0.1_pre20090709.
