mplayer-bin with win32codecs is the only way to play some type of wmv on an amd64 machine. Bring it back into the tree, please. I'll attach the ebuild of the version that I still have installed. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 195362 [details] ebuild for mplayer-bin-1.0_rc1-r3 I guess that there might've been newer versions, but that's the one that I still have installed, so I took the ebuild from /var/db/pkg
As a Security Team member I do not approve of bringing this package back to the tree. See bug 233394 for reference. I suggest to offer the package in an overlay or if you just need it locally, create a local overlay.
