dev-util/eric-4.3.4 (and very likely down to 4.3.1) produces a bug every time a FileDialog is opened. The entries in the file filter (i.e. *.txt *.py) are replaced with ",,,,,,,,,,,,,,". Additionally the following 2 debug messages are displayed <unknown program name>(6768)/ findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libkfilemodule.so" <unknown program name>(6768)/ KPluginLoader::load: The plugin "libkfilemodule" doesn't contain a kde_plugin_verification_data structure This causes the inability to see and open files to use in eric. Do you have the "Use KDE 4 dialogs" option enabled?

Try eric-4.3.5 and PyQt4-4.5.2 please.
