working on it, sorry
Comment 2 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2009-06-18 13:43:20 UTC
Please check revision 1.2 of the 1.5.19-r1 ebuild, and report if it works for you now too.
Comment 3 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2009-06-18 13:44:03 UTC
Errrm, ebuild wasn't changed, files/mutt-1.5.19-mutt_ssl-3af7e8af1983-dc9ec900c657.patch was. Should now include some patching of init.h

[ebuild U ] mail-client/mutt [1.5.19-r1] [1.5.19] USE="berkdb crypt gdbm gnutls gpgme imap nls nntp pop sasl sidebar smime smtp ssl -debug -idn -mbox -qdbm -vanilla" 0 kB [1=>0]

with new patch it still ends with:
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DPKGDATADIR=\"/usr/share/mutt\" -DSYSCONFDIR=\"/etc/mutt\" -DBINDIR=\"/usr/bin\" -DMUTTLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" -DHAVE_CONFIG_H=1 -I. -I. -I. -I./imap -I/usr/include/gpgme -Iintl -I./intl -Wall -pedantic -Wno-long-long -MT hcache.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/hcache.Tpo -c -o hcache.o hcache.c

make[2]: *** [mutt_ssl_gnutls.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

but I didn't see "error: 'OPTSSLVERIFYDATES' undeclared" before, so maybe #274654 is not just duplicate of this bug and there is still bug in mutt_read_line call.

I just removed coresponding hunk in patch mutt-1.5.19-mutt-gnutls-7d0583e0315d-0b13183e40e0.patch, as there is no mutt_read_line with 5 parameters in 1.5.19. Now it compiles fine.

ohw, what a horror.

Thanks Martin for your analysis. I applied your suggested change now.

Let me guess, you use USE=sidebar? Fixed that too now, thanks!
Comment 9 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2009-06-21 14:39:13 UTC
no more bugs, considering fixed for real now
