Description Nils Kneuper 2009-06-17 15:12:32 UTC
Latest version in portage: x11-drivers/linuxwacom-0.8.3_p2

Version 0.8.3_p5 was released on May, 27th. This bump is required on my Thinkpad x60t to not freeze xorg (1.6) when starting it while Intel KMS (Kernel 2.6.30) is active.

Renaming the file is enough to have a working ebuild.

I'm bumping your bump.

x11-drivers/linuxwacom-0.8.3_p6 was released 6/28

However, I still cannot install due to an -fPIC error.

Thanks for the extra notice. Linuxwacom-0.8.3_p6 is now available for testing in the ikelos overlay (available through layman). Please give it a try and let me know here if you have any issues with it. It features a patch to work around bug 276119 and also temporarily removes module support (since 0.8.3_p4 the kernel modules have worked fine with my graphire3, but the external modules haven't, so it's difficult for me to support them)...

Ok, this version's been bumped in the main tree. Please give the serversa a couple of hours to sync and then enjoy. 5:) Kyle, if you're still experiencing build problems, please file a separate bug. Thanks...
