Description Jani-Matti Hätinen 2003-08-27 08:06:48 UTC
KDE fails to start up and hangs while initialising the window manager. Rebuilding the
entire package tree doesn't help and neither does downgrading to 3.1.2.

xset: bad font path element (#64), possible causes are:
Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
    Directory missing fonts.dir
Incorrect font server address or syntax

Is this bug resolved?
Comment 2 Jani-Matti Hätinen 2003-10-24 00:27:16 UTC
Yes. The most likely cause was that hosts.conf didn't have the machine name
as an alias for localhost.
