I have kget-4.2.91 installed, but the USE flags changed, so it's trying to reinstall. Unfortunately, I'm getting the following error: CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND. Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake files: BTCORE_INCLUDE_DIR used as include directory in directory /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kget-4.2.91/work/kget-4.2.91/kget/transfer-plugins/bittorrent My USE flags for kget are: bittorrent-external debug handbook kdeprefix plasma semantic-desktop (-aqua) -sqlite (-bittorrent%) Reproducible: Always
emerge --info and the build.log/config.log please.

Should mention the obvious: this is an overlay bug, which is why I didn't mark it higher severity.
Lokos like kdeprefix issue. Without kdeprefix it get located correctly.
That's odd - since I got it to compile before the bittorrent flag was removed?
try -bittorent-external :]
Created attachment 194940 [details, diff] patch fixing the problem for me (amd64, with kdeprefix) suggested patch that gets this to compile in a kdeprefix environment. I added the following function to my kget ebuild: src_prepare() { kde4-meta-src_prepare use kdeprefix && epatch ${FILESDIR}/kget-4.3-btcore-external-kdeprefix.patch } and then it compiled.
Created attachment 194943 [details] BTCore.patch from pinotree As kindly provided on #kde-devel this patch should be correct and fix the issue. Please test and confirm.
I had to add some whitespace to the patch to get it to patch, and then it seemed to work. The original source had a single space at the end of the "PATHS" line and the "FIND_LIBRARY" line at the bottom. And the ---/+++ lines at the top need full paths: "cmake/modules/" to both lines. And then it patched and worked. I'm wondering if upstream is going to put this in?
It is fixed in live kget. So with next snapshots it will be fixed. For now use -bittorrent-external :]
Created attachment 195011 [details, diff] Reformatted patch This is my reformatted version of pinotree's patch which actually applies here for me, in case someone finds it useful prior to .92's release.
Here's my ebuild diff. This, with the official patch (reformatted), gets kget to build with kdeprefix and the external btcore. @Tomáš - you said this was in live? It doesn't seem to be in .95 :-(
Not in .96, either. What bug in kde's bugzilla is this covered in? I'd update that if I found it ;-)
