Description Peter 2009-06-13 21:16:03 UTC
kscreensaver opengl screensavers don't work. Screen goes black and nothing else. This started happening after I upgraded kde to 3.5.10 from the 3.5.9, I think there is a directory that 3.5.9 had that 3.5.10 doesn't or the like and so the gl screensavers exit silently or something.

This is the segmentation fault that causes the black screen. I'm still looking into it.

Comment 4 Peter 2009-06-20 03:16:45 UTC
My mistake. I just emerged qt-demo and it seems this is a recent qt4 opengl issue because the qt opengl demos also crash, but other opengl programs work.

I guess this should be closed and a link added to a recent qt4 bug, except I can't find one!

KDE3 will be removed from tree.
