The pkg_postinst message for sys-fs/dmraid mentions some settings for genkernel, however the genkernel config has changed a bit over the last year. I'm going to attach a patch that updates the pkg_postinst message, if a dev could apply this to the ebuild in-tree I would really appreciate it. Reproducible: Always

OK, so I've noticed that the whole override capability for genkernel is outdated. Since the source now needs to be patched for bugfixes, using the distfile as downloaded won't work because it won't include the patches. Fix will be attached shortly.
Created attachment 203711 [details] ebuild with new message and functionality for genkernel Attached is an ebuild that addresses these issues. After unpacking, the source-modifying patches are applied, and then the source is archived up again for use with genkernel before the build-system patches are applied. This archive is installed in /usr/share/dmraid/, and the pkg_postinst message has been adjusted accordingly to reflect the new instructions.
