Description Flavio Cappelli 2009-06-09 17:59:51 UTC
I backported the italian localization from kchmviewer-4.0 to kchmviewer-3.1, as I am still using kde 3.5.10. Note that kchmviewer-3.1 will show localized strings only if the option --with-kde is specified into the configuration phase, so we have to force this option into the function src_configure(), when the "kde" flag is set. My ebuild add the italian localization and installs only the required locales. I tested it only on the amd64 arch.

Thanks

	Flavio

italian catalog (po file)

Put this file into the "app-text/kchmviewer/files" directory of your overlay, the ebuild take care of it.

Thank you for your work Flavio. Could you, please, send this translation upstream? I'm aware that probably there will be no releases any more, but who knows...

@kde, are there any Italian developers that could proof read backported translation? I'm unsure about adding this. Bad translation is worse then none...
Comment 4 Flavio Cappelli 2009-06-10 16:09:20 UTC
Translation sent upstream.

Meanwhile... you should know I'am italian, maybe my tests are not too bad... :-)

Nothing for kde@ here, the 3.x should simply be removed from tree. Removing CC.
Comment 6 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-05 20:22:22 UTC
Since we have 4.1 stable now I think we WONTFIX this bug: fixing requires revision bump, but it will be hard to stabilize version then currently stable.
