Description Lindsay Haisley 2003-08-25 20:39:48 UTC
The "Automatically wrap around" button in Galeon's "Find text" dialog (version
1.2.11 and previous) does't work. I'm running Galeon 1.2.5 on another system
with Debian testing on it and this feature works as expected. It also works as
expected in Mozilla 1.4 which is also on the Gentoo box in question.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Browse a site with text
2.Check the "Automatically wrap around" button in the Edit | Find dialog
3.Enter a search for a string known to be in the page
4.Press the Next button repeatedly to locate successive instances of the given
string

Actual Results:
When the last instance of the search string is found the "Next" button is
disabled and no further instances can be found.

Expected Results:
After the last instance of the search string is found, pressing the "Next"
button should locate the first instance of the string on the page.

this works for me with the 1.3 series
Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-12 09:46:27 UTC
since the 1.2 series is not the mainline of activity anymore i think we should
focus on 1.3. Since the issue does not surface for me there i'm gonna close
this as fixed.
