Description Longpoke 2009-06-06 23:42:52 UTC
I can't build syslog-ng-2.1.4, it gets an error while linking saying to recompile with -fPIC. I have 2.1.3 working fine at the moment.

Compiling breaks around here:

It may or may not be related to this bug I also get on the same machine:

looks like your libglib is broken. try emerging it glib again.
Comment 3 Longpoke 2009-06-07 16:04:59 UTC
I rebuilt it. Still no luck.
Comment 4 Longpoke 2009-06-18 03:46:09 UTC
I rebuilt my system with the exact make.conf, but a new hardended stage3 and profile without multilib and it works. :/
