can you tell me what your changes to the ebuild do?
Comment 3 Antonio Dolcetta 2003-10-04 08:10:08 UTC
well, the underlying softare has changed a bit, and my changes reflect that
also I made it always depend on ssl, as you can't rip ssl out from amap
the issue is moot anyways, as this bug is MONTHS old, amap now is 7.something
:-)
Comment 4 Antonio Dolcetta 2003-10-04 08:16:48 UTC
whoops, sorry, my bad, new amap is 4.3, do you want me to write a new ebuild
for that one ?
Comment 5 Brian Jackson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-04 08:37:23 UTC
No problem, I cp'ed your ebuild to 4.3 and it worked fine. It's committed
already. If you find anything else that needs to be done in the ebuild just
post a diff from now on. BTW, this bug is just over a month old ;)
Comment 6 Antonio Dolcetta 2003-10-04 20:50:41 UTC
great, thanks!
Comment 7 Antonio Dolcetta 2003-10-08 05:34:30 UTC
uhm, I tried amap 4.3.ebuild
it does build but then it doesn't work
4.2.ebuild works correctly
I'll look into this, in the meantime maybe you should add amap-4.3.ebuild
to packages.mask ?
