Description Matthew Gillespie 2009-06-05 18:59:43 UTC
media-radio/xastir-1.9.4 appears to be missing an x11-apps/xfontsel dependency, that's referred to in main.c:4590.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add geotiff and imagemagick USE flags to media-radio/xastir
2. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge media-radio/xastir
3.

Actual Results:
mv -f .deps/location_gui.Tpo .deps/location_gui.Po i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include/ImageMagick -DXASTIR_DATA_BASE=\"/usr/share/xastir\" -O2 -march=i686 -pipe -pthread -MT main.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/main.Tpo -c -o main.o main.c
main.c: In function 'Map_font_xfontsel':
main.c:4590: error: 'XFONTSEL_PATH' undeclared (first use in this function)
main.c:4590: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
main.c:4590: error: for each function it appears in.)

make: *** [all] Error 2

Expected Results:
A nice shiny package built.

I've found that adding x11-apps/xfontsel to the list of dependencies resolves this issue.

Please make sure bugs goto bug-wranglers and/or read the product descriptions. thx
Comment 2 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-06-05 19:04:32 UTC
I assume the package is in sunrise based on PORTDIR_OVERLAY and it isn't in the tree.
Comment 3 Thomas Beierlein gentoo-dev 2009-06-06 16:16:32 UTC
Fixed ebuild is in sunrise overlay. Thanks for reporting.
