Description Jesse Adelman 2003-08-24 15:01:00 UTC
I have sys-kernel/pfeifer-soruces-2.4.21_pre4 installed. When doing "emerge -puD
world", portage wants to "upgrade" this package to
"sys-kernel/pfeifer-sources-2.4.20_pre11". Note that I said upgrade, not
downgrade. Seems like a simple fix. Is it?

homeserver pfeifer-sources # emerge -s pfeifer

homeserver pfeifer-sources # emerge -puD world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!

Could you provide us the output of emerge info?
Comment 2 Jesse Adelman 2003-08-25 01:44:34 UTC
homeserver root # emerge info
Your command is my wish. Here you go. However, this appears to be a "historical" issue, as a new "emerege sync" appears to have it cleared up. Thanks to whoever fixed it!
