Didn't read the whole doc, but in Code listing 3.1:

Had a second look. There are some more lines where kde-base should be replaced with kde.

This one needs further investigation, cause there is more deprecated stuff conserning kde-base.

What about this issue? From time to time I see new ebuilds floating around, using the deprecated kde-base eclass.

Hello? I still see kde based ebuilds added with 'kde-base' inheritance. Fixing these occurences will take more time, than fixing this bug.
