By default, dev-libs/openobex does not get compiled with "--enable-python", which enables the python bindings for this library. Either this flag should be enabled or a USE flag be added to allow this. This is blocking my development and testing of Bluetooth on Gentoo.
I have been trying to patch out this, but the option --enable-python, even if supported in dev-libs/openobex-1.3, it does not seem to be creating the bindings. The option does not even exist in dev-libs/openobex-1.5; however, upstream affirms that it does...
Odd, there's an obexftp ebuild that splits the functionality. Invalidating.
