Description LuisMi Garcia 2003-08-24 01:13:36 UTC
When I start torcs from an xterm, and I choose:

Single Player,
Quick Race,
New Race,

The game aborts (crash) with the following message:

bash-2.05b$ torcs
WARNING: slScheduler: Needs a sound card that supports 8 bits per sample.
linuxModLoad: ... drivers/cylos1/cylos1.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory
Pb with loading drivers/cylos1/cylos1.so driver
No driver for that race...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the game (better from an xterm in order to see the error message).
2.Select Single Player, Quick Race, New Race
3.The game crash

Actual Results:
The Game crash, complaining about one of its required files.

Expected Results:
The game working :)

I have a Radeon 9600pro, so OpenGL is ON, but I don't think this is related to
openGL, but a file that doesn't exist.

I believe you have to either create a new driver yourself or remerge with
USE=bots to get that driver.

ok, i was under the impression bots were optional ... guess not :)

new version requires bots to be emerged
