System (Benq P52 laptop) updated to sys-kernel/hardened-sources-2.6.28-r9 from 2.6.28-r7 cannot anymore to wake up cleanly from suspended-to-RAM state. System starts to wake up as supposed to, but right before the display should be turned on it clicks as on reboot and hangs in that state without reaction to key presses; only power button powers off the system (in this case it's not necessary to hold down the power button for a few seconds as it normally should, but only a slight pressing of it is enough like in BIOS boot state on power on). With sys-kernel/hardened-sources-2.6.28-r7 everything went correctly. Suspend-to-RAM is invoked with s2ram -f -p -m. During update from r7 to r9 kernel .config and kernel command line in the bootloader was preserved, so the problem is not due to some changes in the kernel configuration.
