I've written this small ebuild to download all flightgear aircafts. You may download the ebuild to (iff you have a PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage) /usr/local/portage/games-simulation/flightgear-aircrafts/flightgear-aircrafts-20090524.ebuild and the additional file to /usr/local/portage/games-simulation/flightgear-aircrafts/files/planes2 the manifest as /usr/local/portage/games-simulation/flightgear-aircrafts/Manifest can help. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 193020 [details] ebuild for aircrafts
Created attachment 193022 [details] plane definition
Created attachment 193023 [details] optional manifest
current versions now at http://svn.xmw.de/gentoo-overlay/games-simulation/flightgear-aircrafts/
How do I get this? When I try to checkout it asks for a password so there is no way to get the ebuild.
FYI, FlightGear-2.4.0 in tree now

I'll close this one. Built-in launcher (USE=qt5) contains online aircraft browser/installer, essentially rendering the need for ebuild moot imho at this point.
