forgot to say somethign :0 I tryed this ebuild and that was the message I got. Should i isntall particular package so i can get the support for unpack_makeself 2.1.3 ? or should i just wait for new ebuild (even though i do not thinkthis is the ebuild problem right now)

I have created a modified version of americas-army-1.9.0.ebuild that works with modified version of eutils.eclass Both worked on my system dono will they work for yours however there is no reason why wouldnt :)
Sorry, all I did was update some of the warnings so they would apply to version 1.9. I just meant it to be a building block for the resulting 1.9 ebuild.

Well, not just warnings Warnings and everything else that was out of date and/or needed a facelift.
well this currently works however someone more portage experienced should check it out. I guess the differnec ebetween version is only 2 lines (for ebuild) and just coupl of added lines (4 or 5) for eclass, it should be usable like it is.
umm... thanks, huys, but when I said I almost had it done, it meant I already had ebuilds and everything in the works, I just had not gotten them all submitted to CVS. Anyway, wait 30 minutes then emerge sync to get the ebuild I made.
