Would you be open to upgrade on qt-4.5.1 if you already dont have such?
Also make sure that all qt-xxx modules are same version.
eix qt-
and check the installed version, all must be same (this bug about mixed version is currently being fixed in overlay so next release will be flawless :D)

I prefer waiting till qt-4.5.1 will be stabilized. Should be soon, i guess, since it's already stable on ppc and amr. I the meanwhile, a quick fix/patch for k9copy would be great, especially since v 2.3.1 is no more in portage.

same problem with stable qt-4.4 and app-cdr/k9copy-2.3.2, after upgrading to qt-4.5 k9copy compiles fine.
Comment 7 simon 2009-06-04 07:03:21 UTC
qt-4.5.1 has gone stable on ~x86. k9copy-2.3.2 now compiles fine here.
Thx

just wait until qt gets stable in other archs as well there is no other way to do it, i'm closing this, i'll just adjust deps after full stabilization, thanks
