looks like a dupe of #264276
It is a dupe in the sense that compiling with <libXfont-1.4.0 works.
Confirmed - compiles perfectly well against x11-libs/libXfont-1.3.4. Upstream bug 2798021.
Upstream closed the ticket as invalid, says to either use X.org 1.6 or patch unix/xserver/dix/dixfonts.c.
Well, guess that now that we have xorg-server-1.6* in the tree(although masked) i could do a xorg-server-1.6-based ebuild of tigervnc.

Since xorg-server-1.6 is now out of package.mask, and both it and tigervnc are ~arch, there shouldn't be any issues making this change, right?
net-misc/tigervnc-1.0.0-r1 (using xorg-server-1.6) is in the tree -- shouldn't this bug be closed now?
