Could you apply the upstream patch referenced in the URL field please? This fixes a crash that we see from time to time, where removing an existing session makes the daemon explode.
Another reason I'm interested is that there's word of it fixing a memory leak.

Quick consultation on IRC with DrEevil & scarabeus confirmed now is a reasonable time to check in this change we need. Please talk to me through e-mail or IRC about the maintenance status of this package.

Fixed in quagga-0.99.12-r1.
