I'd like to see dirkjan recruited. He goes by the nickname of djc on IRC and has been quite useful in testing, bumping and patching all things python.
To be clear, my real name is Dirkjan Ochtman. Should I just send my quiz to the recruiters@ email address? Patrick has been mentoring me informally for a while now.

I have ebuild and end quizzes pretty much waiting for review.
Quizzes submitted to recruiters. Should start review session tomorrow.
The main portion of the review is done. What's left to do is the assignments and the additional questions. ETA for setup is later this week if I have enough time (not very likely) or early/mid next week. Denis.
Since Denis seems extremely backed up with family matters at the moment (and is apparently without working internet at home), maybe things would go faster if some other recruiter could handle the rest of my process?
Robin has requested that I note here that the -core subscription is still pending and that I CC infra. Announcement is also pending. All the rest is done. What we did: - LDAP - bugzilla - cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org - IRC-cloak - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email - If you want a blog on blogs.gentoo.org, contact planet@gentoo.org For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
djc added to lists. Calchan: Can you just CC infra on all list-requests in future, rather than ask me in IRC. It seems to be more reliable for catching me, and gives the others (who aren't on IRC during the day) a chance to do it too.
- was already subscribed to -dev-announce and -core - resubscribed to -dev with my fancy new address - subscribed to -scm as well - got a forums status bump - made sure I got a .maildir - added myself to the python@ alias - added myself to herds.xml (with supervision) - not sure yet how to operate LDAP - don't need a blog I think this bug can be closed? Or does have to wait till after supervising period?
(In reply to comment #9) > > I think this bug can be closed? Or does have to wait till after supervising > period? > Calchan said in comment #7 that announcement is still pending so he will close this bug whent he announcement is done.
Announcement done: http://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev-announce/msg_4111caacb1bd04f3541e30b762ad93d3.xml.
First mail sent.
djc has replied and resumed committing.
I'd like to retire. I've just sent a package reassignment email to gentoo-dev. Additionally I'm a Bugzilla watcher for arkamar@atlas.cz, so I suppose someone else should pick that up.
Hey, thanks for informing us. Giving you the usual 14 days to reconsider. If you ever feel like returning, it'll be much easier than your initial recruitment. Looking at arkamar@a.z's bugzilla history, it doesn't look like they've used editbugs much, but no wrongdoings either. Could leave them on for now, but we may need to discuss some stricter policy about what to do here. Take care!
Done: - Package reassignment - Bugs - Gitolite - Infra (LDAP, bugs, wiki, d.g.o) - IRC cloak - Projects (Wiki) Pending: - GitHub - Forums - Planet

ping github/forums. Looks like planet isn't relevant.
Forums done.
I've removed arkamar@a.c from my watchlist, so someone else should pick that up if you think that's still necessary.
ping github. Done otherwise.
GitHub also was done at some point. All done then.
