should probably be given a comment that its output format is slightly different, so packages like qmail-scanner and such need adjusted cosmetically (at least). But since 4.1.2 is no longer available, there's not much getting around upgrading... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Calculating world dependencies ...done! >>> emerge (1 of 2) net-mail/f-prot-4.2.0 to / !!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match) >>> our recorded digest: fecc0470add8b1149605d8454860be0b >>> your file's digest: b95c83d6d5c2a8fe996429b737aef0ba !!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//fp-linux-ws-4.2.0.tar.gz Removing the ebuild from /usr/portage/distfiles nor removing the digest and re-syncing solves the problem
The md5sum of the file that i'd installed before submitting this ticket also matched the fecc signature... but yep, that same file downloaded today has your new digest. changing files without bumping version numbers is bad policy, especially for an antivirus company. I haven't yet tried installing the newer 4.2.0 file, although the one with the new signature does unzip and untar without error.
4.2.1 in portage time to close this bug ?
in portage.
