I have installed new libmpcdec (SV8 complinant, from svn trunk) using this ebuild:
http://code.google.com/p/4nykey/source/browse/portage/media-libs/libmpcdec/libmpcdec-9999-r1.ebuild
and tried to rebuild xine. Everything else (mplayer, vlc, mpd)  rebuilt fine, but xine failed finding musepack decoder:

Given that the ebuild does not come from anywhere near an official Gentoo repository, this is not a Gentoo issue. Please rather report this upstream to http://bugs.xine-project.org/ .
