If I try to install sys-power/powertop-1.11 it fails if sys-devel/gettext is not installed. gettext does not seem to be part of the base system profile - as far as I can judge this. So there should be a dependency on gettext or (if the usage is optional) a use-flag. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. don't have gettext installed (happens on on my hardened-server with USE=-nls) 2. try to install powertop-1.11 3.
