Description Vladimir 2009-05-20 15:46:51 UTC
media-sound/aqualung-0.9_beta10-r1 must show the thack name, when I put the mouse pointer over it's system tray icon. But it does only when the track is paused or stopped. As soon as I press "play", Aqualung stops showing the title.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge media-sound/aqualung-0.9_beta10-r1
2. Put some song in a playlist
3. Start playing and put the cursor over Aqualung's system tray icon. Make sure there is no song title visible.
4. Now pause the playback and put the cursor over the tray icon again. Now the title must be visible.

Actual Results:
No song title visible during playback.

Expected Results:
There must be the song title visible each time one puts the mouse pointer over the Aqualung's system tray icon regardless playback state (play/pause).

Please report this to upstream, this is more of an feature request than a bug.

And link us to the upstream bug..

Please excuse me for a stupid question, but I'm quite new to this system. Please explain, what does "upstream" mean and how can I "report this to upstream and give a link to the upstream bug."
  Thanks in advance. :)

P.S. This actually isn't a new feature, because this feature was present in older versions. That's why I considered it's absence as a bug. Am I wrong?

We maintain pkgs of aqualung but upstream is the person or group of people who developed this program in the first place, see aqualung's homepage..

But I'm not sure if my comment is no longer valid, see below..

No, you are right then.

Thanks for the explanation! I've reported this but to Aqualung's native bugtracker. Here is the link to this bug.
