Description Marc Arens 2009-05-20 13:18:22 UTC
ssouminen wanted me to test the new ~arch build of sonata, so here's the only minor bug i found so far

precondition:
1. you have a saved stream in your sonata streams list

steps:
1. have a look at the icons used for music in your library
2. goto streams, double click stream to add it to playlist
3. goto playlist and double click stream to start playback
4. goto library and have a look at the icons used for music in your library
5. navigate in you library (either enter a directory, or move up one level)

results:
after step 1: correct icons - for filesystem-view of library, as selected in dropdown box at the bottom of the window - are used (see attached screenshot1)
after step 4: wrong icons - default blank cover-icon which is normally only used in album-view of library - is used for filesystem-view of library (see attached screenshot2)
after step 5: correct icons are used again

damn, forgot to mention the version i tested :-D

happens with media-sound/sonata-1.6.2

doesn't happen with the current stable version media-sound/sonata-1.5.3
Comment 4 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-22 12:03:58 UTC
Just to be clear.. Can you try to remove the ~/.config/sonata before running 1.6.2? (Backup.)
Comment 5 Marc Arens 2009-05-22 12:31:58 UTC
this still happens after removing ~/.config/sonata

One more step to get your bug actually moved,

Open a bug there and link us there. Sooner the better, i'm hoping 1.6.2 will be in stable soonish.
Comment 7 Marc Arens 2009-05-22 13:50:36 UTC
done. http://developer.berlios.de/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=15722&group_id=7323
will keep you informed about the progress upstream.

"thanks for the report, this should now be fixed in svn."
