Description alexander j pierce 2003-08-21 07:46:37 UTC
below is a sample emerge. i do not run devfsd, and ebuild.sh now seems to
expect a /dev/stdout and a /dev/stderr. it still works as far as i can tell,
just pops this error out. could scare users.

/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 104: /dev/stdout: No such file or directory
libtool
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 104: /dev/stdout: No such file or directory
gnome.org
/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 104: /dev/stdout: No such file or directory
gnome2

still a problem ?
Comment 5 alexander j pierce 2003-09-26 07:21:39 UTC
Yes, still a problem. Now running 2.6.0-test5-mm4 kernel w/ devfs, and no
devfsd.

here is the tail end from emerging postfix-2.0.16-r1 this morning.

I'm pretty sure this is fixed as part of the use/useq/usev issue.
