Need this stable for 2.6.29 coming up at the end of the week. To test: * Buildable with stable kernels, 2.6.29 * Modules should load * DRI with current stable xf86-video-... drivers Thanks!
x86 stable
Alpha is still waiting for the right kernel to move to xorg-1.5. Should we hold off this until then or will the current stable xorg-server et al for alpha keep working after stabling this?
I don't have that hardware so I have no idea how it performs in respect to xorg 1.3, 1.4, etc... I would imagine that all the existing modules should be backward compatible, but there have been significant changes in drm upstream (for instance, intel is gone completely, or the XAA/EXA/UXA stuff) so it's probably best to defer and stick with what works for now.
ia64 stable
Stable on alpha.
amd64 stable
Marked ppc stable, closing since we're the last arch.
