I thought a Subversion ebuild would be useful, particularly for testing.

Updates VERSION file to be "svn${ESVN_WC_REVISION}"

Doesn't do /etc/gentoolkit-version anymore.

Actually installs the VERSION file. Also, as an aside, I noticed that some packages, notably glsa-check, fail when this file is not found. In many cases, when the file is found, the version information is not output anyway.

In any case, some error-handling features requested.
