Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-17 12:25:58 UTC
Since I needed to work on sandbox, I ended up having to install automake-1.10b and there are a few problems ...

a) it uses the 1.10 slot instead of the (I'd guess) 1.11;
b) it still depends on >=autoconf-2.60 when the NEWS file explicitly states it needs 2.62 or later;
c) it results as a downgrade to Portage;

I'll fix (b) myself but (a) and (c) are left to discussion ... I guess the easy way would be to rename it to 1.11_beta and then mangle with the name to create 1.10b... I can do that if it's okay with you.

Thanks!

Actually scratch that, since the installed automake does not work in the first place (either Mike is doing it very manually or is using 9999), I'm just going to fix it so that we can actually work with it..

Fixed with 1.11_beta.
