tried to unmask the package two way:
1. searched for package in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask;
          ...package was not masked here
2.tried "ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ARCH" emerge bnr2"
          ...which gives me "all ebuilds that could satisfy "bnr2" have been masked. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

1.1st tried: search for package in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask;
2.then tried:  "ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ARCH" emerge bnr2
3.

Actual Results:  
package fails to emerge (unmask)

Expected Results:  
emerged bnr2

What is your ARCH?

maybe,
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge bnr2
