Description Christophe PEREZ 2009-05-15 18:11:40 UTC
I have a big problem.
I upgraded my asterisk 1.2.27 to 1.2.32 (and 1.2.31.1 to test) and now, anything work. Even Macro application isn't loaded.
And 1.2.27 isn't anymore in portage. what can I do ?
(I'm not ready at all to upgrade to 1.6.x).

Reproducible: Always

NOTHING of course. (sorry)

To get the old version back:

- got to [1], click "show dead files", download the ebuild.
- keep in mind that it has a reason that it is gone
- put the ebuild in a local overlay (See [2])

To solve your problem:

We need more info. Let's start with emerge --info and a better description of what happens and what you expect to happen. A log or something would be nice.

I managed to get it before your message, but, it doesn't work better.
I don't understand anything.

Of course, and I'd prefer to make 1.2.32 working.

In fact, anything in asterisk work anymore. No Macro application etc...
I can start asterisk, but it uses 100% of my cpu.
I installed zaptel 1.2.27 to see (in place of 1.2.24) but nothing better.

I can't see anything in logs showing why.

All is uptodate, except asterisk-app_rtxfax which can't compile anymore.

Comment 4 Christophe PEREZ 2009-05-16 03:15:04 UTC
It works now. All of this was du to that I can't compile net-misc/asterisk-app_rtxfax-0.0.2_pre25 anymore.
I had to unmerge it, and asterisk works normaly now.

I close the bug (?) but I always have a problem to send/receive fax now.
