Description Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-08-19 17:27:41 UTC
Hey PPC peeps,

i've just marked wireless-tools-26 stable on x86 after over a month of it being
in ~x86. Can you guys test it and see if we can get it stable on PPC too? it
includes some feature updates, as well as better support for WE v16 (which is
default in the upcoming 2.6.x kernels). Thanks a zillion.

Emerged it right now and will test it with my Airport-card (hopefully setting the encryption key will work now!)

DarkSpecter, I set you on Cc so that you know, when I marked it stable.

As far as I can tell, it works. The only thing I could not test is setting an encryption key for WEP. But it seems that my card or even the driver does not support it...

If you want, add ppc to the keywords.

yep works fine. 26 can be marked ppc. Going to reassign to lu_zero for final
judgement about this. He seems to be involved with wireless-tools-27.

seems working to me too.

 DarkSpecter, your final word?

as i don't have any wifi hardware the final word is up to you or trance.
Comment 7 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2003-11-02 10:38:47 UTC
ok, committing to ppc then
