Description Nikos Chantziaras 2009-05-12 04:09:52 UTC
There was an update of dev-libs/boost today (to 1.37.0-r1). revdep-rebuild detected that app-office/lyx-1.6.2 needs to be rebuild. However, the emerge fails with compilation errors:

Did you select the new boost version with eselect boost?
Comment 3 Nikos Chantziaras 2009-05-12 08:16:15 UTC
During the update of boost, portage reported that it did select it on its own. As it turns out, portage was lying. It did not select it. After "eselect boost set 1" by hand, it now works.

I suppose this is a bug on its own (portage claiming it selected the new boost while actually not doing it.)

I'm closing as INVALID. If a dev things this deserves a bug on its own, please comment.
