Yes, please mark stable on x86.

Installed it on:

Mon Jan 26 23:33:37 2009 >>> sys-apps/iproute2-2.6.28

Using trafficshaping, works perfectly, no problems.

Portage 2.1.6.11 (hardened/x86, gcc-4.3.3, glibc-2.8_p20080602-r3, 2.6.28-r7 i686)

Thanks cilly for testing, but do you use a stable profile? You cut your ACCEPT_KEYWORDS variable value

Mike, this needs sys-kernel/linux-headers >= 2.6.28 stable...do you want that?
Comment 3 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-15 18:48:02 UTC
Please get rid of the PV==9999 special-casing at the top, it makes little larry cry.

Also, there is no os-headers 2.6.28 (l-h 2.6.28-r1 is there).
Comment 4 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-20 05:12:34 UTC
vapier: Does that mean you want >=sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.28-r1 stable as well? If so, which?
Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2009-05-29 22:30:11 UTC
no, the PV handling is correct

ive tweaked the DEPEND, but someone who has 2.6.27 on a stable system should verify before stabilizing
Comment 6 Dawid Węgliński (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-30 08:28:05 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 7 Arttu Valo 2009-05-30 13:12:00 UTC
This fails multilib-strict on amd64:

ecompressdir: bzip2 -9 /usr/share/man
Files matching a file type that is not allowed:
   usr/lib/tc/q_atm.so
