no known regressions
Yes, please mark stable on x86. Installed it on: Mon Jan 26 23:33:37 2009 >>> sys-apps/iproute2-2.6.28 Using trafficshaping, works perfectly, no problems. Portage 2.1.6.11 (hardened/x86, gcc-4.3.3, glibc-2.8_p20080602-r3, 2.6.28-r7 i686) =================================================================System uname: Linux-2.6.28-r7-i686-VIA_Nehemiah-with-glibc2.4Timestamp of tree: Wed, 13 May 2009 23:45:02 +0000 ccache version 2.4 [enabled] app-shells/bash: 3.2_p39 dev-lang/python: 2.5.4-r2 dev-util/ccache: 2.4-r7 sys-apps/baselayout: 1.12.11.1 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.6-r2 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.63 sys-devel/automake: 1.5, 1.7.9-r1, 1.10.2 sys-devel/binutils: 2.18-r4 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.4.0-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.26 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.28-r1ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86"CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=i686 -msse -mmmx -mfpmath=sse -Os -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
Thanks cilly for testing, but do you use a stable profile? You cut your ACCEPT_KEYWORDS variable value Mike, this needs sys-kernel/linux-headers >= 2.6.28 stable...do you want that?
Please get rid of the PV==9999 special-casing at the top, it makes little larry cry. Also, there is no os-headers 2.6.28 (l-h 2.6.28-r1 is there).
vapier: Does that mean you want >=sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.28-r1 stable as well? If so, which?
no, the PV handling is correct ive tweaked the DEPEND, but someone who has 2.6.27 on a stable system should verify before stabilizing
