Description Duarte Loreto 2003-08-19 04:09:58 UTC
I'm the GNOME translator for Portuguese and 2 weeks ago moved from Slackware to
Gentoo. I need "bleeding edge" translation tools to prepare GNOME 2.4. I
installed the ~x86 gettext 0.12.1 but I'm lacking an ebuild for intltool-0.27.2.
The 0.27.2 release adds the following to 0.26: Correctly parse xml and other
similar file types (for gnome-games and a few other). Allows for UTF-8 chars in
msgid's to be extracted (with gettext 0.12.x) (GNUMERIC and others).
I made an ebuild by adding a
SRC_URI="ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/intltool/0.27/${P}.tar.bz2" but
as I'm new to this, I don't know if the new ebuild is correct... It works well
for me, though. :)
Thank you for your time and work!

intltool-0.27.2.ebuild -> My 1st ebuild

This is the ebuild I placed on my /usr/local/portage to be able to install the
needed tool. Not sure if it is correct, but at least it works for me and I
tried to do it :)

I've been stalling this bug opening for some days... Just emerge sync and noticed that the 0.27.2.ebuild was placed on portage this night.
SORRY!
I would like to close this bug, but I can't... Sorry for taking your time in vain.
